Stamping RDP5x4 Blank Plain Rectangle Flat Plate 5 1/2" length x4" width
Approx. size 5 1/2" length x 4" width (Retangle-almost) Plain Flat Plate. 18 gauge which is .0478" Metal Thickness (approx. thickness of a dime). 1/16" is (.0625") thickness so this rectangle plate is slightly thinner than 1/16". Metal Steel Plates. Cold Rolled Blank. A magnet will adhere to this steel.
While the length remains constant, the width varies on each end as well as from piece to piece, thus not a true rectangle but closest description for people to understand. Width can vary from 4" to 5".
After production several hundred pieces at a time are put into a mixer and tumbled for several hours. The tumbling process deburrs (smooths out) the edges and gives the metal discs a distressed look. Next the discs are sprayed lightly, tumbled some more, and then air dried for several hours.
