EASY TO USE -
PRODUCES FLAT & CONSISTENT SCROLLS (NO PRE-HEATING OF
METAL REQUIRED)...
- On the MK 1/2 Scroll Bender, the end of the metal
strip is
placed between two central rollers and is
gripped by adjusting the moveable roller. On the Mk 2/2, the metal is
placed in the slot of the center
pillar. For both benders, the metal strip is then drawn around center
segment to produce initial part of scroll.
- Depending on size of scroll required, metal strip is
drawn
around further with additional segment(s)
dropped in as required. For consistency when producing repeated scrolls
mark scroll "tangent point"
on base. Finally release finished flat scroll.
SERIES 3
RANGE (CAPSTAN OPERATED)
Being capstan operated, the professional Series 3
benders shown
alongside, have one main advantage over their
Series 2 counterparts, namely the material is drawn into the machine
rather than having to be drawn around
the segments. As a consequence these machines do not require such a
large unobstructed work area.

TO USE - MK. 2/3 BENDER FOR
THE PROFESSIONAL USER...
- Hinged segments are opened out and end of metal strip
is
placed into center segment and gripped by means of locking bar
mechanism.
- Metal is positioned to right of special pressure
roller
which ensures material is drawn into center as T-bar handle is operated
to bend scroll.
- Handle is rotated to bend scroll of required size.
Unlock
center of scroll to release when finished.
