Hinged segments are opened out and end of metal strip is placed into center segment and gripped by means of locking bar mechanism.
Metal is positioned to right of special pressure roller which ensures material is drawn into center as T-bar handle is operated to form scroll.
Handle is rotated to form scroll of required size. When finished, unlock center to release scroll.
