This scroll bender allows one to make smaller scrolls - these scrolls are widely used in candle holder and other in home type projects. Picture shows a scroll made with the MK1/2 Scroll Bender. Scrolls can be made using: 1/2"w x 3/32" thickness flat strip metal, 3/8"w x 1/16" thickness flat strip, and 1/8" solid round rod.
*please note metal shown is for illustrative purposes and is not included with tool.

On the MK1/2 Scroll Bender, the end of the metal strip is placed between two central rollers and is gripped by adjusting the movable roller. The metal strip is then drawn around center segment to produce initial part of scroll.
Depending on size of scroll required, metal strip is drawn around further with 2nd segment placed in position. For consistency when producing repeated scrolls, mark on base where metal leaves the segment.
Finally release finished scroll (scroll comes out flat).
