M11 Powerful Rare Earth Magnet. To give size reference, picture above shows a M11 Magnet on a penny. These magnets work great with the metal stampings (even stampings that are concave).
The M11 Magnet gives one the flexibility to change metal stampings on a project, just take off one stamping and change out with another - so easy. Another great use is when you incorporate a metal stamping with wood decor: countersink a hole in the wood, glue the magnet into the hole (we suggest E6000 glue sold at local shops) and then attach stamping to the magnet - done!
Great for the refrigerator and for use in workshops.
1 magnet allowed us to lift a pair of pliers!
Approx. size 3/8" diameter x 1/8" thickness.

These magnets can pose dangers to kids and adults. Mishandling of magnets can cause injury or property damage. Make sure to keep magnets away from people who are wearing pace makers or other medical devices. Also keep magnets away from Computer monitors, TVs, and other electronic devices.
WARNING: Neodymium (NdFeB) magnets can:
Break easy DO NOT let them snap together as they could shatter & cut you.
Lose their magnetic field when heated above 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
Become combustible when heated excessively.
Not be machined in any way.
Harm magnetic storage media including hard/dvd disks, credit/debit cards, etc.
Harm computer monitors, watches, etc.
The most powerful 'rare-earth' magnet composition known to mankind. This formulation is relatively modern, and first became commercially available in 1984. NdFeB magnets have the highest B, Br, and BHmax of any magnet formula, and also have very high Hc. They are however very brittle, hard to machine, and sensitive to corrosion and high temperatures. Useful in the home or workshop - in almost all magnet applications, NdFeB are the best choice for incredible strength and coercivity at a reasonable price! In power generation applications, NdFeB magnets can be expected to give 4-5 times the power output of ceramic magnets.
Like any other potentially dangerous item or substance, these magnets are perfectly safe when treated with care and stored properly. Treat them with the same respect you would tools, knives, ammunition, chemicals, etc. Rare earth magnets should be kept in a safe place out of reach of children. Properly stored and treated, these magnets are perfectly safe and will last for many years.
